The Honest Grind

From the Railsplitter's Axe to the Veteran's Cup

In 1860, a backwoods railsplitter named Abraham Lincoln ran for the presidency on a simple idea: that honest work and unyielding character could split rails and split a nation free. He carried the nickname "Rail Splitter" as a badge of plain, stubborn grit.

A century and a half later, a combat-wounded Army veteran came home carrying something heavier than an axe — and found his own honest grind in building this company. Same character. Same refusal to quit. Every Rail Splitter roast is a salute to that lineage.

Every bag is roasted in small batches and chosen the same way a surveyor picks a line — carefully, and without cutting corners. This is coffee with a conscience forged in fire.
